Effective Communication Skills is a training designed specifically for busy individuals who would like to improve their communication skills.

It is a 1-day training which places emphasis on the importance of grammar, vocabulary, punctuation and language work for communication skills.“Without a sound language base, effective communication cannot take place at all.” 

The major aim of this training is to show the trainees the way to communicate in English to the point where they can understand and make themselves understood.

The content of this training is sufficient to help the trainees to communicate effectively in any environment after the trainees have understood how grammar, vocabulary and punctuation really work. In this way, the trainees will know how to improve themselves in the future.

The 8 Parts of Speech

In English Grammar, the 8 Parts of Speech are the foundation which helps a learner to speak and write English clearly and confidently.

NOUNS – definition, singular and plural, possession.

ADJECTIVES – definition, kinds of adjectives.

VERBS – definition, auxiliary and principal verbs, the simple sentence, subject and predicate (sentence pattern 1), subject-verb-object (sentence pattern 2), types of sentence.

PRONOUNS – definition, subjective pronouns, objective pronouns, possessive pronouns, relative pronouns.

ADVERBS – definition, adverbs of manner, adverbs of time, adverbs of place, position of adverbs.

PREPOSITIONS – definition, prepositions of place, prepositions of direction, prepositions of time, prepositional phrases.

CONJUNCTIONS – definition, the 4 groups of conjunctions (AND, BUT, OR, SO) used in compound sentences.

INTERJECTIONS – definition, the uses of various interjections.
